Lovely Mayan tripod terracotta bowl. Miniature vessels like this were most likely used for medicinal or some other concoctions in the Mayan Empire. Vessel has round globular body supported on three short knob feet. Lovely burnt reddish brown patina and polished finish. Good condition. Age-related wear, abrasion and small chip on the rim. Encrustation. Size approx. 5,7cm x 5,6cm x 5,7cm.
