This fine, partial Ancient Roman necklace is composed of small circular glass beads in varying hues of blue, each unique in translucency, texture, and shape, creating a mosaic-like impression. At the center, a small ovoid bead serves as a pendant-like focal point, adding to the necklace’s delicate yet striking appearance.
In Roman society, jewelry was an essential accessory, displaying wealth and status. Glass elements such as beads, cameos, and intaglios were crafted to imitate semi-precious stones like rock crystal, carnelian, and sapphire, allowing for stunning yet more widely available adornments. Returns
Returns and exchange will be accepted within fourteen days (14) of receipt at the purchaser’s cost to include freight and packaging. Items must be returned in the same condition as when they were shipped, and will not be accepted if damaged or altered in any way.
