Early 20th century, Morocco, North Africa & Mali, West Africa.
Stunning strand of powder glass beads and delicate antique carnelian agate beads, hand-carved in India during the early 20th century and traded in Mali, West Africa, with addition of fine translucent Moroccan amber beads (that are imitatating real amber resin, when in fact they are produced from the natural resin of gum trees) and various bone beads. Irregular round, rectangular and barrel shapes. Modern string. Traces of wearing and handling over many years. Robust condition with some minor chips & digs. Colors vary from light carnelian color to amber yellow and deeper dark orange. Strand c. 70,0cm with 29 unique beads.

The shipment will be prepared in the course of 3-5 days and dispatched via Posti Group Oyj or purchased item(s) can be picked up from our shop during the store's opening hours (Tarkk’ampujankatu 4, 00140, Helsinki, Finland). Returns
Returns and exchange will be accepted within fourteen days (14) of receipt at the purchaser’s cost to include freight and packaging. Items must be returned in the same condition as when they were shipped, and will not be accepted if damaged or altered in any way.
